visited from Canton . What an exceptional food and ambience . Everything was cooked perfectly and had authentic taste. The owner and staff are very friendly. Portions were great. Restaurant is very clean. Tried their mixed platter which was cooked perfectly. Dall Tarka was awesome. Tea was what a Desi need. Would recommend folks looking for good Indian Pakistani food to try this place.
Run don’t walk to Tanduri Korner the new restaurant in downtown Ypsilanti! The flavors packed a powerful punch, wow! I had samosas and beef sandwich wrap with 2 different amazing sauces. Highly recommend!
Ordered takeout, the food was so good and flavorful. The biryani portion was full of spices, meat and some really good potatoes and the garlic naan was the best I had
Ramadan buffet was delicious, and I believe it’s different everday. parking outside of restaurant, and a lot nearby easy to find vegetarian options available, and owner will go above and beyond to provide more veggies if options are limited wonderful staff very, very clean. everything was spotless, buffet kept clean throughout the iftar that can get busy at times provided water, drinks, and karak chai with meal dessert options were plenty and delicious. dates, baklawa, and more Ramadan atmosphere was perfect here, from the decoration, to the quiet music, every small touch was noticeable and lovely
Great spot in Ypsilanti and worth the drive for those outside. My favorite dishes are the seikh kabobs and tandoori chicken. This chicken is way different in almost every great way. Most places overly spice and overcook their chicken. This was spiced right, charred perfectly and still juicy. The naan is also exceptionally different than many Indian or Pakistani places. Crispy and buttery on the outside yet still opens and soft on the inside. Somehow they also have the inside flaky as if it was a buttermilk biscuit. Not sure why only the 3.5 stars, my experience with the food was a 10/10. Highly recommended.
The Hyderabadi Biriyani was authentic and way too good. Also the Mango Lacchi is good too, better than any other places I have tasted lacchi.
This place is SO good. The food is phenomenal, calming atmosphere, and large portions. The employees are very kind. I felt like part of the family.
Stumbled on this place when I was thrifting - the thrift store down the street closed 5 minutes before I got there but I guess fate brought me down this street for a reason. I got the mutton curry and it was just bursting with flavor! Spicy but not overwhelmingly hot. The rice and the naan bread were delicious also. Next time I'm going to come on Saturday afternoon for the buffet so I can try more variety
